''We discovered your restaurant at the very end of our holiday in Normandy...and what a find! Our meal was outstanding - a real treat for the tastebuds after a week of omelettes and pizzas! It was, without a shadow of a doubt, the best food we have ever had in France. And knowing that much of what we were eating had been grown in your own beautiful garden simply added to the pleasure. Thankyou for a wonderful evening and keep up the good work. We will be back!''

We had a really lovely vegetarian easter break. We wanted to get away somewhere not to far away from home and we weren't expecting to have such great weather and we certainly weren't expecting to have such a marvellous time! The vegetarian food is just divine (I put on 1lb for every day!) proving that vegetarian food isn't always so saintly, I did pig out and have 4 courses every day though! Debbie and Daniel are great hosts and make you feel so at home and relaxed. The gardens were lovely even so early in the year and the animals were so much fun to watch (and feed!) We especially loved the sheep Cassis and Framboise! The rooms were really comfy and decorated with lots of taste.
We have just booked another week in August, which says it all really! We really can't fault
La maison du vert and recommend it heartily! Can't wait to go back. Thank you Debbie and Daniel!
